Here's a recent conversation Lily and I had:
Lily: I love you to the moon and back.
Mama: I love you to the moon and back too.
Lily: I love you to the sun and back.
Mama: I love you to the stars and back.
Lily: I love you to the circles and back.
So maybe she doesn't *quite* get it.
In other Lily-ism news, tonight she told me she'd read me a book. She was "reading" Where the Wild Things Are to me and I chimed in with her to roar my terrible roar, but was reprimanded for that. "No, Mama. I'm reading this book to you out loud. That means you need to be quiet for me."
Well, she's got the order right now at least. The theme will come. I think it is adorable.
