Wrestlemania

I am the youngest of three girls, so I don't have a whole lot of knowledge about life with boys. For example, they like to have impromptu wrestling sessions from time to time.

Little Piggies

Lily is a pretty big fan of playing "This Little Piggy." She'll stick out her foot and shake it around, wanting you to count her little piggy toes. When you finish counting them and tickling her, she laughs and asks for "Moh! Moh!" She is also impatient for you to go "Wee-wee-wee!" so as soon as you start on her pinky toe, she grabs her big toe and says, "This! This!"

JJ, big brother extraordinaire, is willing to play even fresh out of bed with no shirt and a raging case of bedhead.

Mo' Oatmeal, Please!

Why is it so funny to me when Lily wants my food? Here's a video of her asking for my oatmeal (and, as usual, helping blow on it when it's hot).

You Make Me Feel Like Dancing

I think JJ is pretty happy about the new Wii.

A Tale of Cherry Limeade

Sometimes a girl just needs a drink of her daddy's cherry limeade.

Trip to Game Stop

My mom ended up with two Wiis (don't ask), so she recently sent us one. We were thrilled to receive it and got it all set up in the family room. Tuesday afternoon we took a family trip to Game Stop to look at getting an additional controller and maybe a game or two.

Lily is a very big girl now, so she doesn't want to be carried around the store like a baby. She wants to walk. And she doesn't even want to hold hands. Jason made her hold hands in the parking lot, then let go of her hand in the store. She followed JJ over to the Wii game section, pulled a tween pajama party game off the shelf, then sat down on the floor and examined it for a while. She followed me and/or JJ around the store (carrying the pajama party game the whole time) pointing to all the other games and calling them books (or "boops," as she likes to say). When we all congregated to make a final decision on our purchase, Lily squatted down and pooped while we talked. Classy.

In the end, JJ got to pick a game (he chose Wii Music) and Jason picked a game (something to do with tournament fishing). We also got a second controller. Sadly for Lily, her pajama party game went back on the shelf.

Chuck E Cheese's

Yesterday we took a family trip to Chuck E Cheese's. JJ was still with his mom in Sedona, but the rest of us had a blast. I didn't realize how much Lily would love her first trip there!

Ball Popper

The last time Gammy and Gampy were in town, Gampy picked out a new toy for Lily. It's a batter operated ball popper that plays music as it uses air to shoot balls into the air. I'd put the toy up for the last month or two, but brought it out when Tucker arrived. It was a big hit with both the little kids.

Sandia Peak

The other day we took a drive to the Sandia Peak tram. Lily wasn't quite sure what was going on when we bought some tickets and got in line.

But Tucker was ready for action.

Lily was a little shocked by the view at the top.

But she had fun doing some hiking with dada.

Especially when she got the princess treatment.

Jack enjoyed a little scenery.

While Jenn and Richard contemplated the wilderness.

All those beautiful views made Lily affectionate on the way down.

And all that excitement made her tired when we got home.

Family

Man, it sure is fun when your family comes to town!
